As most of you know, we just had our first public protest against Hephzibah House. Our primary goal was to raise Awareness about this abusive facilty. It was amazing how many people in Warsaw/Winona Lake had never even heard of Hephzibah House. We were all so thankful for the great reception we received, and the caring and support that was shown by this community.
Our protest was covered by Fox 28 news. Traci Capellman did a wonderful job highlighting our concerns and goals. You can check out the broadcasts at www.fox28.com . Unfortunately, the live video feed does expire after a few weeks, so you will have to search the site for "Hephzibah House". The Newspaper Articles page on this site has all of the recent Times Union articles; however, you will also be able to access the archives of the Warsaw Times Union newspaper at www.timesuniononline.com to read the articles by again searching the site for "Hephzibah House".

This is the long driveway leading up to Hephzibah House. The house is no longer visible from the road, and even though you can't really see it in the picture, there is yellow "police" line blocking off the driveway.

This is sign right across the street from Hephzibah House. If this sign wasn't there, we would not have even known where to turn. In fact, we drove right by the house and had to turn around once we saw the sign.

Front of the house. This is the best shot we could get considering they had the driveway blocked. Poor Jennifer took a look at the house and actually had no memory of it whatsoever. The more we talked, we figured it must be because she was trapped in the basement the whole time because she never made it to the outisde crew. I can't even imagine how much harder that must have made her time there.

After leaving the Hephzibah House location, we drove over to School Street. I spent a lot of time working at School Street, and this is where Susan lived while she was a student.
